Danielle Painter has spent almost two decades in music, beginning on saxophone and later expanding into composition. Her works have been performed by the Oregon State University Wind Symphony, Saxophone Choir and Clarinet Ensemble, and she presented multiple intermedia pieces at Soundbox 8: Drip.
In May 2025, her piece Spring of Helicon premiered with the Roseburg High School Wind Ensemble. She debuted Storms, a soundtrack collaboration with the Library of Congress archives and Kino Lorber Films, WONDER DOGS!.
