About

Hello! My name is Danielle Painter!

For over 13 years, my life has been deeply intertwined with the world of music. My initial steps into this captivating universe started with the saxophone, and later, I transitioned to the study of voice and composition. Since 2013, I’ve been exploring the art of composing and arranging, with the privilege of having my works performed by the Oregon State University Saxophone Choir.

My creative inspiration finds its roots in the realms of fantasy and the whimsical. These captivating influences seep into both my music and personal interests, infusing my work with an element of whimsy and a touch of the surreal. I’ve developed an affection for what I refer to as ‘Medieval Tavern Music,’ a genre that beautifully balances the surreal and the whimsical.

My journey in music is an ongoing exploration, marked by a sincere desire to craft melodies that evoke emotions and stories in those who listen. I continue to hone my skills at Oregon State University in the Contemporary Music Industry program, guided by the enchantment and magic that music offers.
